LiveWest is one of the largest housing providers in the South West, owning and managing over 40,000 homes. We're seeking a proactive, detail-orientated Senior Business Partner to join our finance team, focusing on our Asset Management division. In this pivotal role, you'll support investment and sustainability initiatives for our existing homes, guiding senior managers and budget holders with essential financial insights to help achieve performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver financial expertise to advance LiveWest's investment and sustainability strategies for existing homes.
2. Partner with senior managers to address financial performance challenges, ensuring accountability and progress.
3. Lead the preparation of our annual asset management budget and 30-year business plan, supporting long-term and sustainable growth.
This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis. You can be based in our Weston-super-Mare or Exeter office, and a hybrid way of working, with 2 - 3 days per week in the office, dependent on business need, is available.

About The Candidate
To be successful in your application for the role of Senior Business Partner - Finance, you will meet the essential skills and experience for a Level 3 role (please see our candidate information pack) and the following specific and experience:
1. CCAB qualified, or equivalent experience if an internal candidate.
2. Evidence of continuing professional development.
3. Preferably you will have a background in social housing, or a related sector (D)
4. Advanced MS Excel, familiarity with Power BI (D); good working knowledge of MS office and finance/housing management systems.
5. Strong grasp of financial and management accounting, budgeting, variance and ratio analysis, and Value for Money principles.
6. Skilled in project planning, process improvement, and translating complex data into meaningful reports.
7. Demonstrated accuracy and strong focus on risk management.
