We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Nine Mile Veterinary Hospital.
Location: 177 Nine Mile Ride, Finchampstead, RG40 4JD
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours a week plus 1:4 share in the Saturday rota
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri: 8am-4:30pm/10:30am-7pm, Sat: 8am-1pm Weekly rotation of early and lates

About the role:
As a Veterinary Receptionist at our bustling practice, your role will be vital to creating a welcoming, professional, and friendly experience for pet owners, visitors, and telephone callers. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
1. Greeting clients and ensuring their needs are met
2. Answering phone calls, booking appointments, and managing client queries via phone, email, and in-person
3. Handling payment transactions and sorting invoices
4. Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
5. Working closely with our veterinary team to support the best outcomes for our patients

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual who:
1. Previous Receptionist experience is beneficial but not a requirement; veterinary experience is a plus!
2. Possesses excellent communication skills and empathy
3. Is resilient and able to handle emotionally challenging situations
4. Works well in a team and is adaptable to varying tasks
5. Is proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
6. Has excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
