Our Community Paediatric Team has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Medical Secretary to join us on a part time basis. Community Children’s Health Partnership (CCHP) Services are provided by Sirona care & health CIC, working closely with partners in other organisations to provide all community child health and child and adolescent mental health services for Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. Our approach is family-centered, emphasizing the voice of the child and young person. We work in partnership with primary and secondary care, public health, social care, education, and the third sector to achieve the best outcomes for every child. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive secretarial/administration support to clinical staff. Undertake photocopying, filing, and administrative duties to ensure efficient office operation. Responsible for audio/copy typing of letters, reports, general correspondence, and statutory assessments. Arrange and organize meetings as directed by clinical staff. Request test results/investigations/medical records/x-rays as instructed by clinical staff, highlighting urgent results. Liaise with patients, medical and nursing staff, police and social services, and other agencies to deal with queries. Ensure waiting list targets are met and pending lists are maintained. Record clerical activity accurately for activity purposes in a timely manner. Deal with professionals’ incoming mail effectively. Maintain effective diary systems. Record and book clinical outcomes, patient telephone follow-ups on EMIS. Assist in training new staff/colleagues.
