Teaching Assistant – SEN Support (Exeter) Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Exeter, providing essential support to students with SEN. Role Overview: Supporting students with special educational needs, either 1:1 or within small groups. Helping children to engage with learning, develop confidence, and reach their full potential. Assisting the class teacher in delivering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Implementing individual support plans and using tailored strategies to aid student progress. What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is desirable but not essential. A caring, patient, and proactive attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A willingness to learn and adapt to different needs within the classroom. Location: Exeter Hours: Full-time, 8:30 - 15:30 each day.
