We are currently seeking a SEND Teacher to join our team at our post-16 SEN college in Uxbridge. In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that meet the unique needs of your students.
2. Creating a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
3. Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure that every student receives the individualized support they need.
4. Monitoring and tracking student progress to ensure that they are making meaningful progress towards their goals.
5. Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and innovations in the field of PMLD education.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
1. A relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, etc.).
2. Experience teaching students with SEND in a post-16 SEN college setting.
3. A working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and other relevant legislation.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
5. A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equality in education.
