Join our clients dynamic sales department. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the sales of concrete products by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining rigorous sales administration, and supporting other departments as necessary. Duties will include:
* Engage and provide excellent customer service, converting inquiries into orders to meet and exceed the team’s sales targets
* Serve customers, hauliers, and suppliers efficiently, including operating barriers and weighbridges
* Price enquiries and tenders accurately within set timeframes
* Conduct proactive sales visits and meetings with customers such as housing developers, merchants, and individual builders, and engage in networking
* Secure orders at optimal prices and ensure that sales information is recorded accurately
* Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality/Technical, and Dispatch teams to meet customer requirements and deadlines
* Document and assist in resolving any non-conformances or complaints, and contribute to the completion of Corrective Actions Reports
* Provide cover for the transport function during holidays and other absences
Criteria:
* Demonstrated customer service excellence and professionalism in client interactions
* Motivated individual with a keen interest in the building/construction industry
* Strong educational background or relevant experience in sales administration, including proficiency in Mathematics, English, and computer skills
* Excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment
* Confidence in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
