Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to joint the tobacco dependency team at Humber health partnership. You will manage the well established tobacco dependency teams across the Humber Health Partnership group, developing and leading projects developing close working relationships with the hospitals and the ICB to raise the profile of the team and reduce health inequalities across the region. You should be an experienced team and project lead with an interest in public health and health inequalities. Main duties of the job Manage the elements of the NHS plan for delivery of tobacco dependency support to all in-patients and NHS staff, including developing and managing project/programmes plans, reporting progress and undertaking risk and issue management to ensure effective and timely delivery of the tobacco dependency agenda and action plan. Liaise with appropriate functions within the Trust, and the ICS Prevention Board on joint project matter Manage and contribute to the reporting of progress/under performance of projects to the tobacco dependency strategic group and other committees as required. Co-ordinate the workforce planning and training requirements for the future tobacco dependency pathway for in-patients and staff across the ICS, providing returns to secondary and primary care forums and other stakeholders as required. Develop and implement a coherent project plan review system to ensure that any underperformance or potential delay is identified early, reported to tobacco dependency strategic Group, and ensure that actions agreed by the Steering Group are actioned within the agreed timescale.
