Working pattern: Full time days, on site

Interviews will be commencing in July and will consist of a face-to-face interview at our site in Burton Latimer.
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Energy Coordinator to oversee our Energy Centre and support our facilities legal compliance operation. This role will support, implement, and maintain safety practices as required through Weetabix standards and will be responsible for completing job duties in a manner that supports all plant safety, food safety, quality, and environmental practices.
The successful candidate will:
* Utilise energy/system data to make recommendations and decisions and display excellent organisational, communication, and influencing skills
* Oversee the day-to-day Burton Latimer Energy Centre and CHP operation, including supporting our Corby Boiler House operation alongside the Corby Engineering Teams
* Ensure associated Energy Centre and CHP routine testing is completed to satisfy both legal obligations and standard compliance
* Support other key Asset compliance activities outside of the CHP operation with PSSR, PUWER & LOLER
* Provide support for our Sustainability & Environmental activity programme, including Carbon Management and Trade Effluent Compliance
* Complete level 1/2/3 safety audits for the Energy Centre
* Liaise with contractors for routine and ad hoc work required for the Energy Centre and other services such as Compressors and Insurance inspections
* Manage repairs and maintenance for the Energy Centre via Weetabix CMMS system (Mainsaver)
* Provide occasional call-out and weekend cover
* Help create and drive Energy saving initiatives alongside the Energy Systems Manager
* Manage Energy Metering Devices across the estate and report data for internal and external audits
Requirements
The key ingredients for success:
Qualifications are valued but experience is crucial. For roles governed by legislation, specific qualifications and achievements will be required and evidenced during the process.
* Engineering Qualification – HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical/Energy
* Boiler house and CHP operational experience
* Knowledge of Asset compliance for multiple functions

Nice to haves:
* Understanding of Health and Safety procedures, ideally IOSH/NEBOSH Certification
