My client is an established FM company looking for a qualified and experienced mobile mechanical maintenance engineer to join a team around Cambridge. This is a great role for someone looking to join a company offering lots of progression and training.

Main Duties will include:
1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
2. Carry out Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
3. Be on a call out rota to provide the client with full out of hours cover.
4. Overseeing visiting sub-contractors with regards to standard of work and Health and Safety.
5. Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
6. Carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
8. Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
9. Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
10. Daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks including - UPS system and associated control systems, Plumbing and drainage systems, Boiler room checks, Cooling towers, Fan coil units / AHU's/ Fans, Heating Pumps.
The Ideal candidate will have:
1. City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanically Qualified (or equivalent)
2. Experience in a commercial environment
3. Experience working within a hospital or R&D environment - Desired
4. Good building services knowledge
5. Ability to work in a team environment
6. Be able to pass a DBS check
