Job Posting: Mental Health Nurse
Client: Lancashire Care
Role: Mental Health Nurse
Rates: £19.43 - £33.43 per hour
Shifts: Flexible hours, with shifts available throughout the day, night, and weekends
Key Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will:
* Provide care and rehabilitation for mental health patients
* Develop individualised support plans tailored to each patient
* Arrange ongoing, long-term support for patients leaving care
* Build trusting relationships with patients to put them at ease
* Offer advice and reassurance through active listening
* Work closely with other mental healthcare professionals to determine the best treatment plans
* Support relatives and carers with advice and guidance
* Maintain up-to-date medical records
* Perform physical health checks such as vital statistics monitoring and blood tests
* Administer medications as required
* Promote mental health initiatives and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health
* Stay up to date with mental health best practices and latest theories

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential:
* Registered Nurse (RMN qualification)
* At least 2 years post-graduate experience
* 6 months recent NHS experience (within the last 3 years)
* Enhanced background check clearance
