We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Bank Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in an inpatient mental health setting.
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care across a variety of wards and departments. Supporting patients with their daily care needs and mental health recovery, ensuring their dignity and well-being. Working closely with healthcare teams to monitor patients, manage challenging behaviours, and promote independence in a safe environment.

Main duties of the job
* To Support the delivery of care needs by carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
* To contribute to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor.
* As part of a team, provide high quality mental health care to the service users
* To promote recovery.
* To do all the above in a manner that maintains safety for all.
* To assist in service and good practice developments.

* GCSE Maths & English, or Equivalent
* NVQ Level 3 qualification in direct care or equivalent experience
