Workday Data Lead - Fixed Term 7 Month.
Remote role, with the expectation that travel to sites will be required on occasion. This will likely be Bowburn, Leeds, or London.
About The Role.
This role will be the subject matter expert (SME) and will work closely with the Central Programme Team, as well as senior stakeholders and external suppliers, to oversee and manage the data conversion process for the Workday implementation. The purpose of the role is to oversee and drive the data conversion process for Workday implementations at Waythrough. This includes ensuring that the data migration activities are executed efficiently, with high quality and scalability.
Key duties of the role include but not limited too:
* Manage build timelines and collaborate with the project management team on tenant management.• Plan and execute comprehensive configuration migration using Workday’s toolset.
* Lead the conversion of data from legacy systems and spreadsheets to Workday HCM & Financials.
* Utilize Workday-provided loading tools for data integration.
* Develop ETL scripts for data transformation and loading.
* Lead validation efforts to ensure data accuracy in Workday.
* Support in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues, and overseeing conversion activities.
* Provide key updates to project and client leadership and collaborate closely with counterparts to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
* Proactively identify and escalate risks, offering alternative solutions as needed.
The successful candidate will be required to have:
* Strong proficiency in data conversion, ETL processes, and data integration with Workday.
* Expertise in Workday HCM and Financials modules.
* High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
* Proven experience leading data conversion activities in Workday implementations.
* In-depth understanding of Workday HCM & Financials, including data migration and transformation techniques.
