Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a high-quality, versatile catering service that meets our residents’ individual needs, including special diets
• Manage food and labour budgets through strategic rota planning, purchasing, and effective control of food supplies
• Oversee order management, stock audits, and ensure timely input of weekly labour and daily cash records
• Implement and manage our Food Safety Management System, ensuring team compliance
• Schedule cleaning and maintenance routines to maintain exceptional sanitation and safety standards
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain a pristine kitchen environment
• Assist in supervising and developing staff
Essential Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in a catering environment with a record of cooking for diverse groups
• Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality
• A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Proficiency with online catering software packages
• Solid knowledge of health and safety procedures and experience in managing budgets
• A friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
