Job Title: AV Technician\nLocation: London\nRole Type: Freelance\nRate: £220.00 per day\n\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking a skilled and proactive AV Technician, providing exceptional technical support across various corporate client sites in London. This role focuses on business as usual (BAU) support, ensuring seamless operation of meeting rooms, conference facilities, and AV equipment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide daily operational support for audio-visual equipment across client sites.\n\nSet up, test, and troubleshoot AV systems in meeting rooms, ensuring all equipment functions effectively before events.\n\nRespond promptly to technical issues, minimising downtime and ensuring excellent customer experience.\n\nMaintain and manage AV inventory, ensuring equipment is accounted for and in optimal condition.\n\nCollaborate with IT teams and facilities staff to provide integrated support services.\n\nDeliver training and guidance to end-users to maximise the effective use of AV equipment.\n\nProvide first-line technical support for video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Cisco, and WebEx.\n\nIdentify recurring issues and contribute to ongoing improvements in AV system performance.\n\nKey Requirements:\n\nProven experience as an AV Technician, ideally in a corporate environment.\n\nStrong understanding of AV equipment including projectors, microphones, control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Q-SYS), and video conferencing tools.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.\n\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.\n\nAbility to manage time effectively and work across multiple client sites.\n\nDesirable Skills:\n\nExperience supporting hybrid meetings and integrating AV solutions for remote participants.\n\nFamiliarity with digital signage and sound systems.\n\nCertifications in relevant AV technologies are advantageous
