Job Description
An experienced Electromechanical Engineering Technician with a manufacturing / production engineering background will become part of an award winning Cambridge Company, designers and manufacturers of a range of thermal imaging equipment.A competitive salary will be offered with benefits to include a discretionary bonus, pension scheme, 37.5 hour week, variable start/finish times, Life assurance and free fruit and snacks.
What the Electromechanical Engineering Technician will get involved with:
* Assembling, testing and troubleshooting electromechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Working closely with other engineers and production team members to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.
* Performing functional tests and quality checks on assembled devices to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Maintaining accurate documentation.
* Assisting in maintenance and calibration of production equipment and tools.
The Electromechanical Engineering Technician should bring the following skills and experience:
* A relevant engineering related qualification.
* Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly to include soldering (to 0201) and wiring.
* Good fault finding skills.
* Ability to read schematic diagrams.
* Exposure to optical assembly would be great to see.
* Ability to use standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.
