Our people are our success, and we work as one team. We are recruiting a Senior Marketing and Business Development Executive to join our Life Sciences team. This role will support the BD Manager to develop and deliver the business development plans for Life Sciences & Big Pharma across all UK and International offices, to drive increased sales of profitable, strategically aligned work into the firm. As part of a highly engaged and top performing team, this opportunity will focus on one of the Firms key business areas, and work with clients that form the cornerstone of our organisation's success. This role can be based out of any of our UK offices; however, it will require regular travel into London if not based there and will also include the exciting opportunity for potential European travel. Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests. Candidate Overview We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience: Proven experience at a Senior Marketing and BD level, or exceptional quality at an exec level, ideally within the legal industry or similar partnership environments. Able to lead on content creation for several outputs, including capability documents, client brochures, pitches and various social media channels. Experienced in managing an established programme of client facing events, as well as taking the lead on establishing new events in the schedule, based on trends or hot topics. Evidence of working as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as Partners - giving advice and guidance and being able to challenge where necessary. Experience of leading on a number of focus groups within the sector, working directly with partners on progressing focus group BD and client plans. Able to take genuine ownership of this role with minimal supervision - managing a complex and varied workload, keeping up to date with news and trends, and being an early adopter of new ways of working (tech, AI etc).
