Are you a Children's Home Deputy Manager looking to step up to a Registered Manager's job? Or are you already a Children's Home Registered Manager looking for a new opportunity?
I have a fantastic opportunity for a Children's Home Registered Manager to join a market-leading Children's Residential Service provider, to manage an established and settled Children's Residential EBD home just outside Bridgwater, Somerset.
Job Title: Childrens Home Registered Manager
Salary: Up to £43,000 plus up to £9,000 achievable bonus - Total package up to £52,000!
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hours: Full time / 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
This role offers support and development for the right candidate looking to step up into management. Alternatively, a candidate already in a registered manager position, looking for a new opportunity in a market-leading organisation, with the children at the heart of their values and a dedicated, close-knit leadership team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and must have experience working in a residential home for young people along with the appropriate qualifications.

Responsibilities of the Childrens Home Registered Manager:
1. To maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with colleagues, stakeholders, and other professionals to manage the service to high standards.
2. To hold OFSTED registration and ensure the home is fully compliant to an excellent standard.
3. To ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times within the home.
4. To ensure the home is a safe and homely environment.
5. Managing taxing behaviours sympathetically.
6. To ensure compliance with development, training, and supervision policies.
Requirements:
1. NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services).
2. NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services.
3. Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position.
4. Experience in a residential children's home environment, ideally within EBD.
