About the Job
As a Transport Supervisor you will deliver cost effective and compliant transport operations. As a forward thinking and people
focussed company you will develop the transport function, providing effective communication, leadership, motivation, training and
development.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
* Co-ordinate, supervise, and report upon the work activities within the Transport Operation
* Communicate to your team and ensure full compliance with all relevant legislative and policy/procedure requirements relating to
transport, health and safety and security.
* Work collaboratively across departments to manage cost, service and customer satisfaction in line with agreed Key Performance
Indicators.
* Manage performance and provide support and guidance, as well as lead regular team briefings and coach both permanent and agency
colleagues within budget to enable the smooth running of the transport operation
* Take accountability for employee satisfaction levels by applying good Leadership and Employee engagement practices.
* Promote and behave in a way consistent with the organisation’s vision, values, and principals.
* Contribute towards projects that drive down cost / improve service.
