Fire Systems Project Engineer - North East
Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Fire Systems Project Engineer specifically covering the North East region.
Basic Salary – up to £40,000 per annum
Overtime, Travel Time circa £10,000 per annum

Marlowe Fire & Security’s Fire Systems Project Engineer’s Responsibilities:
* Technically engineer/install and manage small and large projects across the Marlowe portfolio whilst controlling and planning the projects and commissioning works.
* Liaise with key clients to ensure programme deadlines are achieved whilst maintaining profitability, health, safety, and quality to company requirements.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Process cost sheets to purchasing department.
* Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project.
* Ensure all engineering paperwork is allocated to the engineers and following project completion ensure commissioning completed correctly.
* Provide technical expertise as required on projects.
* Attend site meetings as required.
* Line management of engineers and subcontractors as assigned, including management of employee.
* Manage job profitability of assigned projects and report into the project manager.
* Control all aspects of health and safety on sites.
* Carry out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required.
* Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire systems industry.
* Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations.
* Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
* Technical knowledge of major systems and projects.
