Job summary An exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse has arisen to join our practice, either full time or part time. We are a large GP practice serving Ellesmere and Whitchurch in North Shropshire. The successful applicant will work within our Nursing Team across all sites and collaboratively with our wider team of clinicians and admin staff to deliver patient care. We are looking for a flexible and reliable nurse with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills. We would consider full, or part time applications based on your preference, you will be required to take a fair share of extended hours evening and Saturday morning shifts. Ideally you will have previous experience in a Practice Nurse role and be competent in chronic disease management as well as baby immunisations, cervical smears, dressings, injections etc. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check. Salary will be dependent on experience. Start date to be agreed although we are prepared to wait for the right person. Main duties of the job The post holder is a caring, committed and experienced nurse who will act within their professional boundaries. They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, for patients within the general practice.
