We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Nurse/ Paramedic practitionerfor this developmental post within Folkestone and Deal Urgent Treatment Centres. We serve the local population and beyond and have a good reputation.
You will work as part of a team providing a high standard of care to patients with a range of different minor injuries and minor illness through the 111 service. Candidates must be flexible and have excellent communication skills.
You must have a minimum of two years post registration experience.You will be a competent Nurse/ Emergency care practitioner developing your leadership and mentorship skills. You will be able to communicate across the multidisciplinary field of practitioners. Experience of minor injuries/ minor illness is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
• You will possess good organisational skills plus the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards of care and efficient service delivery is essential to these positions.
• We are committed to your personal development and training. Car driver desirable as you may be required to work on other sites within our service.
This is a Development post where the candidate will work on the floor learning through the course and competencies the role of Nurse / Paramedic practitioner
The post is full time but flexible hours considered. The department can be busy and diverse inan ever changing environment and we are looking for a highly motivated member, to join our team, who is adaptable to clinical change on a shift basis.
The post will cover shift patterns at the Urgent Treatment Centre and internal rotation across both Folkestone and Deal service is required.
The service opening times in the Urgent treatment Centre is 8am to 8pm seven days a week.
