Job Title: School Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Blue Arrow - Southampton. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the dietary needs of our clients and customers.
* Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure that our food services remain competitive and appealing.
* Identify opportunities to improve our food services and implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
* Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.
* Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
* Monitor inventories to ensure that our kitchens are well-stocked and that we are operating efficiently.
* Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
* Have experience supervising a team.
* Have experience in a similar Chef role.
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
* Have a flexible approach to working.
