The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering leadership, with experience in managing plant maintenance, upgrades, and improvement projects. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee plant maintenance activities to ensure maximum availability and efficiency.
* Manage outages, maintenance budgets, and improvement projects to achieve optimal results.
* Develop and implement out-of-hours maintenance cover arrangements to meet business needs.
* Liaise with various teams on plant upgrades and modifications to ensure smooth execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* HNC (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (preferred).
* Leadership experience in power stations or heavy process industries.
* Knowledge of PSSR, steam boilers, and rotating plant.
* Excellent budget management and planning skills.
