At Learn With SAT, we're on the hunt for inspiring Core Subject Tutors who want to go beyond the classroom and tailor learning to fit the unique needs and interests of one exceptional student.
Why This Role is Special:
You’ll have the opportunity to craft bespoke curriculums that celebrate the student’s preferred learning style and passions. These will be child-led, innovative learning that bridges gaps and sparks joy in education!
This isn’t just teaching—it’s about creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where a neurodivergent adolescent can thrive. What You’ll Do:
* Design and deliver tailored lessons during the school day (Monday-Friday, term-time only).
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the student’s holistic development.
* Inspire progress with empathy, patience, and expertise in SEND education.
What You Bring:
* At least 2 years’ experience teaching the KS2, KS3, or KS4 curriculum.
* A background in working with neurodivergent adolescents and implementing low-arousal approaches.
* Experience inside or outside traditional education settings.
* A proven ability to adapt and innovate in your teaching style.
Must-Haves:
* A minimum of a BSc/BA in your subject area.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A genuine love for seeing students thrive and progress.
* A full, clean driver’s license and access to a car.
Desirable:
* Safeguarding training (Level 1 or higher).
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
