There are two offerings available for Summer Internship opportunities across our Belfast location: 1.Tax & Legal Summer Internship, Belfast - What you will do: Work across our Belfast Tax offerings. Collaborate with the 1 global leader in professional services and one of Ireland's largest tax advisory providers. Advise a diverse client base, from multinational corporations to family-owned businesses, in a fast-paced environment. Develop professionally through Deloitte's Student Academy and access comprehensive support for ACA and CIOT qualifications. Contribute to an award-winning team recognized by the International Tax Review for excellence in Tax and Transfer Pricing. Support clients in tax disputes and accompany Tax Partners to proceedings locally and internationally. Participate in networking and social events, including Tax Unplugged activities and team-building initiatives. Contribute to deliverables such as process maps, requirement documents, and dashboards. 2.Research & Development (R&D) - Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3) Summer Internship Work with diverse clients across industries such as software, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and more. Gain exposure to cutting-edge technology in various STEM fields. Review and analyse R&D activities for businesses, from SMEs to multinationals. Support the development of green and sustainable technologies and products. Conduct technical interviews with innovation leaders to document R&D efforts for Irish Revenue, IDA, or Enterprise Ireland. Align client activities with R&D Tax Credit and grant qualification criteria. Draft and review technical project reports to support R&D claims. Prepare R&D Tax Credit financial calculations. Assist in supporting R&D Tax Credit claims during Revenue audits or inquiries. Identify and explore additional R&D funding opportunities for clients.
