Principle Accountabilities: Work with all staff and clients to ensure that works are completed both on time and within budget. To pro-actively generate leads and opportunities for the expansion of the service provision of Ipsum Power (Private Networks) Ltd. To react to other leads from existing customers or in-house. Ability to upsell the HV/LV services to existing customers. Produce RAMS and SSoW. Conduct and produce alteration of work schedules and/or programmes as and when required. Undertake site visits to ensure ongoing works are advancing in alinement with schedules/programmes, ensuring client satisfaction and ensuring that no ‘risks’ arise to the Ipsum Power (Private Networks) Ltd. Communicate with clients as required to assist in the delivery of both new and ongoing works. Ensure to liaise with PPM Manager for labour requirements when required for Projects and Maintenance work. Manage the procurement and delivery of materials to site and office location that is required for Project and Maintenance work. Management and procurement of sub-contractors via Ipsum Power (Private Networks Ltd) supplier database. Checking and signing off of relevant invoices attached to the Wakefield operation. Assisting the business in the development of new clients and work. Conduct project site inspections against internal requirements (minimum one per month). Ensure that accidents and near misses are suitably reported, recorded and investigated and that remedial action is carried out promptly. Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the Head of SHEQ Power and your Line Manager. Senior Accountabilities: Carry out regular skill reviews with engineers to better understand training requirements for assigned engineers. Be a vocal point for assigned engineers, issues and assist where needed. D esirable Qualifications [& Professional Membership(s)]: NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent. HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Desirable Skills & Personal Qualities: Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation. Detailed understanding of current HV/ LV electrical installation techniques. Solid and up to date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances. Good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment. Previous experience working in the High Voltage industry. Skills & Personal Qualities: Exceptional communication skills. A strong sense of initiative. The ability to build excellent working relationships. Good time management and an ability to plan ahead. Aware of the operational needs of the client, whilst taking account the commercial implications. Critical and problem-solving skills.
