The Role:
We’re seeking a Commercial Finance Partner to provide clear, world-class financial insights that empower our client's business leads to make informed decisions on scopes, fees, and resources. This role partners closely with Business and Operations leads to advise on commercial opportunities, drive financial transparency and enhance performance.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you’ll be part of the Commercial Finance team. However, given the fast-moving nature of the account, you’ll be embedded within the UK client team, working with them day-to-day to help manage the financial complexities of this 8-figure business.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial:
* Provide thought leadership and guidance on pricing to agency and client team
* Identify and suggest alternative pricing mechanisms to improve revenue growth opportunities
* Represent the commercial team in meetings as required
* Provide ad-hoc support to Head of Commercial on special targeted projects across key functions
* Work with client and operations leads on resource forecasting and ensuring this is recorded in the Finance Trackers
* Work with the operations leads to build a margin improvement plan for client account and monitor progress against it
* Regular catch-ups with the account service teams to understand the latest scopes, resourcing, capacity planning and job progress on client
* Assist negotiations on portfolio of clients and be the key commercial contact for the client procurement departments alongside operations director
* Ensure client finance trackers are maintained.
* Update and maintain income forecasts with retainer fees, based on workload
* Work with and advise members of the billing and Management Accounts team as and when the situation arises.
* Interface with international finance leads to ensure immediate access to global financial reporting
Skills & Experience:
* Must be passionate and take pride in their work and be able to demonstrate excellent levels of ownership in order to effectively manage all finance trackers across their client portfolio.
* Ideal candidate is ACCA/CIMA qualified, but not vital to the role
* Experience in advertising/similar industry
* You should be able to thrive in a lively, dynamic and pressurised environment and have excellent workload management with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
* Must be able to work using your own initiative but also be committed to supporting the wider team whenever possible.
* Google Docs ability with experience using Pivot Tables, vlookups, etc.
* Intermediate Excel ability with experience using pivot tables, vlookups
