Job title: Business Operations Manager

Salary: £63,900+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead the Business Operations team across the DDT&E organisation ensuring effective design, implementation and running of the Business Operations activities. Responsibilities include;
* Implementation and evolution of the DDT&E operating framework/ways of working and associated business reporting & review structure
* Production of Business reports, ensuring clarity of messaging and data driven performance indicators, enabled by digitisation & dashboards
* Co-ordination of the Integrated Business Planning process and resource Demand and Supply process
* Leadership of Business Improvement activities
* Management of the Business Continuity, SHE and Facilities activities and objectives
* Management of Project Management capability including recruitment and development, working collaboratively with the PM function
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Degree qualified with a professional project management certification, such as APM/APMP or equivalent
* Proven experience of designing and deploying business operating frameworks across a large and complex business, enabled by digitisation & dashboards
* Experience of each part of the life cycle (Concept, Bid, Delivery) and ideally has undertaken Project Management / Project Control roles in the Design & Development environment
* Confident and articulate in interfacing and influencing at a senior management / director level. Be collaborative, motivated and engaging with the ability to manage conflicting demands & priorities
* Significant experience of leading & collaborating across teams to deliver on outcomes, as well as implementation of business improvement initiatives

The DDT&E Team:
The Design, Development, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) organisation is a 2,000+ strong organisation delivering engineering projects and more across multiple aircraft platforms including Typhoon, Tornado, Hawk, F35, FalconWorks and FCAS.
The DDT&E organisation are pleased to announce this opportunity as Business Operations Manager.
There are five Centres of Excellence within DDT&E including Test and Evaluation, Mission and Information Systems, Flight Sciences, Advanced Aerostructures and Synthetic Training & Engineering Products.
