PSHE Teacher – Key Stage 3

Are you passionate about supporting young people who have faced challenges in mainstream education? Do you have the resilience, empathy, and behaviour management skills needed to help students re-engage with learning?
We are looking for a PSHE Teacher to join a specialist school in Fazakerley, working with Key Stage 3 students who require additional support to thrive academically and personally. While some students will transition back into mainstream education, others will continue their learning journey within the school’s nurturing environment.
Your Role:
* Deliver engaging and meaningful PSHE lessons that promote personal development, emotional wellbeing, and social skills.
* Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and building confidence in education.
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.
* Develop strong, trusting relationships with students, fostering a sense of safety, understanding, and motivation.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience teaching PSHE or a related subject.
* Confidence in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning space.
* A passion for working with students who have struggled in mainstream education.
* The ability to build strong, supportive connections with young people.
* A commitment to helping students develop essential life skills for their future.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
