The Business System Manager is responsible for managing and delivering a suite of business systems supporting areas such as Finance, Payroll, HR, Academic Registry, and Work Placement. The role involves leading the Systems Management team to support, maintain, and develop the core business-critical systems portfolio. You will be part of the DTS management team, contributing to the design and development of the university’s IT and digital strategic plans.
You will work in partnership with system and stakeholder owners to ensure systems are managed and maintained in line with business needs and priorities. The role includes managing and supporting key systems as part of the Nexus programme, monitoring, reporting, and resolving issues, and motivating the team to deliver optimal solutions. Additionally, you will provide project management and support for implementing new systems, liaising with business/stakeholder owners, partners, suppliers, and user groups.
