Opportunity Overview
Mobile Industrial Robots A/S (MiR), a Teradyne subsidiary, is a leading manufacturer of collaborative mobile robots. We are looking for a Field Application Engineer with AMRs or AGVs experience, based in Brazil, with coverage responsibility along Brazil & South America. Your primary areas of responsibility will be to support our customers and partners (Distributors, Integrators, and OEMs) through the following essential job duties and responsibilities:
1. Be recognized as a subject matter expert.
2. Support existing customers and partners as they go through pre-sales and post-sales (Qualify project, plant assessment, successful robot demo, Proof of Concept, Integration, Training).
3. Competent to work independently with cross-functional departments. Responsible for project managing including the technical relationship with the assigned customer. The FAE should be the go-to person for customers’ technical contacts.
4. Responsible for handling the first level for all technical matters including product discussions, FA/debug, JIRA tracking/closure and project monitoring.
5. Work with firmware/system/ASIC engineers on resolving customer issues.
6. This position requires travel & visits to customers up to 50%.
7. The ideal candidate must be based up to 100km from São Paulo.

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
2. Advance English level.
3. Minimum 3+ years of field support experience in AMRs, AGVs, or industrial automation.
4. Strong ability to comprehend technical discussions and writing notes/summary.
5. PC system architecture and Windows/Linux OS environment.
Preferred Job Requirements:
1. Experience in SSD system debugging and SSD firmware.
2. Intralogistics & WMS systems knowledge.
