About the role
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you’ll actively seek out and engage customer prospects, providing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability. You’ll sell high-value, high-technology equipment and instruments directly to end-users and through approved channel partners. This position covers the South of the UK.
Key responsibilities:
✅ Achieve agreed sales targets
✅ Identify and develop new business opportunities
✅ Build and maintain strong customer relationships
✅ Utilise HubSpot for pipeline management & reporting
✅ Provide technical support to channel partners and customers
✅ Deliver presentations and negotiate deals
✅ Analyse market trends and competitor activities
What we’re looking for:
✔ Experience: Proven sales track record, preferably in equipment/instruments
✔ Education: Degree-level (preferred) or equivalent experience
✔ Skills: Cold calling, lead generation, social media engagement, and technical knowledge
(physics/chemistry/biology background is a plus)
✔ Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient
✔ Other: Full UK driving license & willingness to travel
Bonus points if you have:
🚀 Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems
🌎 Fluency in a second major language
🔬 Lab experience or technical sales background
