An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Barnet is on the hunt for a Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT for a January 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent post.
The current Humanities Head of Department has helped the Humanities Department grow from strength to strength. They've now got a perfect mix of young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, alongside multiple Humanities graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.
This Secondary School has produced some incredible Progress 8 results across KS3, 4 & 5 and has created a fun and creative learning environment for students.
Experienced Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECTs can take on a TLR such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, and more.
Newly Qualified Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECTs (ECT) will be enrolled onto the school's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young & experienced Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECTs.

* Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECT - KS3, 4 & 5
* Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
* Working alongside a team of fantastic Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECTs
* TLR Opportunities: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
* ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, in & out of house training, and more
* Inner London
* January 2025 - Full Time & Permanent
* MPS1-UPS3 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
* Located in the Borough of Barnet
PERSON SPECIFICATION - HUMANITIES TEACHER / HUMANITIES ECT
* Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
* Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
* Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
* You must be able to work as part of a large team of Humanities Teacher / Humanities ECTs
* Must be willing to listen to feedback
