The Company:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a reputable and established supplier of fashion apparel and accessories to high street retailers. License experience required.
The Role:
1. Maintaining and establishing relationships.
2. Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients.
3. Managing the critical path so key deadlines are met.
4. Liaising with Far East, ensuring all feedback is provided to the relevant departments.
5. Identify and resolve client concerns.
6. Maintain an awareness of trends and competitor ranges.
7. Suggest opportunities of how to grow the business.
8. Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
9. Participate in marketing events such as trade shows.
10. Negotiating with factories and buyers to achieve target margins.
11. Customer development meetings.
12. Negotiation of sales/cost prices, lead times and delivery dates with retailers and factories.
13. General administration duties.
Skills Required:
1. Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience working with UK high street customers.
2. Licensed experience desired.
3. Ideally have a fashion and accessories background.
4. Experience Managing a team.
5. Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels of the business and with external customers.
6. Strong new business and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to bring on new customers as well as manage current accounts.
8. Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
9. Excellent computer skills.
