Record radiation doses on the trust computer system for patients x-ray records. Record pregnancy status where appropriate. 10. To participate in the out of hours system as required, working unsocial hours, independently in unpredictable situations with workload, emergencies and sometimes, aggressive, intoxicated patients. 11. Ability to prioritise workload according to clinical urgency/need and hospital targets when working single handed. 12. Be proficient in Intravenous Cannulation. And administration of contrast, being aware of reactions and the appropriate action / treatment needed. Training will be provided for this. 14. Understand how the undergraduate radiography course runs to enable teaching and supervision of students on a daily basis, training can be provided if necessary. 15. Be proficient in controlling violence and aggression and talk down skills for when working single-handed in department when on call, training can be provided if needed. 16. Participate in the A and E abnormal pattern recognition system. 17. Arrange in-patient transport, liaising with ward and departmental staff. 18. Manage service engineer handover forms.
