At ASPH you will work alongside a team that supports 3,300 births a year whilst working in the picturesque county of Surrey. Our vision is to become one of the best healthcare Trusts in the county and it all starts with you Main duties of the job The postholder will: To provide information and support to women who are known to be diabetic or are diagnosed with Diabetes during their pregnancy. To ensure referral to the appropriate health professional when deviations from the normal occur and to work in partnership with that health professional to ensure safe standards of care. This post may be either hospital or community based with flexibility to move between care settings. Support the Lead Midwife in collection and production of any audits. Support the Diabetes lead Midwife with the training and education of colleagues. When community based, the post holder will be expected to participate in the on call rota/night duty for community.
