Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has come for a building services shift supervisor to join the facilities management team working at prestigious site in Central London.
Key activities:
Reporting to the M&E Service Manager
Supervise/manage all reactive and maintenance tasks carried out in the delivery of the contract, including KPI monitoring and CAFM input
Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards and all statutory legislation is complied with
Plan work for trade staff/contract labour. Supervise trade staff/contract/labour/contractors to ensure work is completed to a defined standard, within agreed time and budget
Report any non-conformance practices or faulty equipment; ensure all Health and Safety, COSHH and permit to work systems are always adhered to
Make recommendations of replacement parts and materials to ensure equipment and building availability
Ensure accurate and prompt completion of any associated paperwork or electronic documentation
Must be trained and appointed in at least 2 disciplines to hold and maintain AP/RP responsibilities
Working 38.5 hours per week, on a 4 on, 4 off shift patterns, days only from 07:00 to 19:00. Skills & qualification:
Experience in a similar FM environment or blue-chip business site is desirable
Must hold a recognised advanced mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, able to build and maintain relationships with the client service team
Familiarity with Maximo or similar CAFM systems is desirable
Must have a good understanding of health & safety best practice, formal training an advantage
