We are excited to be able to advertise for a Class Teacher to join our dedicated and caring team of staff from September 2025.
Sandford Hill is a two-form primary school, with extremely well-behaved pupils who are keen to learn, whilst following our ethos of ‘Thoughtfulness, Respect and Hard Work’. We also have incredibly committed staff who are proud to work at our school and enjoy coming to work.
Sandford Hill is an inclusive school and applicants must have high expectations of pupil’s achievement and behaviour, providing them with exciting and stimulating activities, both in and out of the classroom, thus ensuring that all pupils make excellent progress.
The successful candidate will:
• be familiar with the primary curriculum (including the teaching of early reading);
• have an enthusiasm for mathematics;
• be open to professional growth; accepting advice and having a willingness to improve; and
• implement school policies and procedures which impact on behaviours for learning.
The post holder will be expected to:
• perform their duties in line with the core professional standards for qualified teachers; and
• carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the school’s policies, under the direction of the Co-Headteachers.
