What's exciting about the role
As a Key Account Manager – UK & I, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing strategic relationships across the UK & Ireland region. This role is pivotal in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales performance, and executing commercial strategies in line with business objectives.
This is a 1-year fixed-term contract, ideal for a results-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Management: Own and develop strategic relationships with key customers across the UK & Ireland, ensuring long-term partnerships and high levels of client satisfaction.
2. Sales & Growth: Drive revenue growth through proactive account planning, upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, customer success, and operations to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client needs are met.
4. Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor performance against targets, produce regular account reports, and maintain accurate CRM records.
5. Contract Negotiation: Lead contract renewals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations with key stakeholders.
6. Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Experience we desire
7. Proven experience in a Key Account Management, Business Development, or Strategic Sales role (within the payments industry strongly preferred)
8. Track record of delivering results and managing complex client relationships.
9. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
10. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
11. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
12. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
13. Willingness to travel within the UK & Ireland as required.
