Monash Imaging is seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Team Leader to join the Administration leadership team at Dandenong Hospital.
About the Role - Administration Team Leader
As an Administration Team Leader, this integral leadership role is responsible for facilitating the daily administration functions and needs of the department. The role requires assisting and supporting the Site Administration Supervisor and imaging administration team by promoting and maintaining an open communication flow with all stakeholders, both internally and externally. The role is to be conducted whilst in a rostered position leading by example. You will be a key resource to the Monash Imaging administration network by stepping into the administration supervisory role when required and demonstrating flexibility by assisting in other areas of the service when and where necessary.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Rostered in a service delivery position
2. Manage daily administration operational requirements
3. Provide collaborative support to the Site Administration Supervisor and Site Chief MIT and Administrative team members
4. Mentoring staff to assist learning
5. Leading by example to promote a positive team environment
6. Effectively manage own time and team to ensure efficiency is maintained
About You
As an experienced Administrative Team Leader, you are passionate, led by example, and take pride in working collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team to oversee the day-to-day activities of your team in the delivery of the best imaging and interventional radiology services for our community. To ensure your success in this role, you will have the following demonstrated skills, experience, and knowledge:
1. Nationally recognised qualification in administration and/or office management (preference Health-related industry)
2. Extensive vocational experience in office administration and/or office management
3. Outstanding communication skills to engage with, build, and mentor a team
4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
5. Professional customer-oriented mindset
6. Exceptional attention to maintain financial accountability
7. Sound knowledge and use of computer skills including information systems, MS Office, specialised applications, and/or in-house systems
8. Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing situations readily
9. Strong team player attributes
10. Open to ongoing learning and sharing skills and knowledge with the team
11. Inspiring leadership skills and motivation to ensure a positive team environment
12. Ability to support and grow the team to achieve industry and professional standards
