What you'll be doing
1. Develop cost, schedule, resource, and milestone estimates for technical solution development.
2. Plan projects efficiently and deliver the requisite engineering through in-house or outsourced teams.
3. Ensure robust change controls are applied during engineering delivery.
4. Drive compliance with contractual requirements of the engineering framework agreements.
5. Meet the commercial, technical, and regulatory compliance requirements on engineering activities.
6. Assess and continuously improve Thames Water engineering business processes.
7. Lead excellence in Engineering Delivery for Thames Water.
8. Provide technical input into Project Needs to ensure clarity on project objectives.
9. Support the establishment of a commercially astute Engineering Centre of Excellence.
This role will be based at Clearwater Court, Hybrid. You will be required to attend the office and sites as needed for the role and business.
36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Must be a driver and have access to a car; this role does come with a car allowance.
What you should bring to the role
1. Degree level qualified or equivalent with professional charters in their Engineering Discipline.
2. Knowledge of managing cost centres or project budgets.
3. A background in leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Understanding of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with our regulatory requirements.

1. Competitive salary from £66,000 - £72,000 per annum.
2. This role will come with a car allowance of £5,800.
3. 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
