Description
Manage and supervise staff and budgets for Small Works and Repairs Section.
Develop and implement strategic service plans.
Oversee maintenance of diverse building and structural assets.
Manage comprehensive statutory inspection regimes for properties.
Prepare technical specifications and supervise repair and alteration works.
Manage capital works projects and liaise with regeneration teams.
Provide technical advice and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Act as the organization's energy conservation and management officer.
Profile
To be considered for this position, applicants should be a Building Surveyor holding either CIOB or RICS status.
In addition to this, applicants will ideally need to be based in or around the Staffordshire region and be able to demonstrate the below experience:
1. Proven experience in building maintenance and property management.
2. Strong budget management and financial planning skills.
3. Technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance requirements.
4. Ability to prepare detailed specifications and manage complex projects.
5. Excellent leadership and staff development capabilities.
6. In-depth understanding of health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Job Offer
A salary of £49,000 - £54,000 is on offer and you will also be enrolled on to a lucrative local government pension scheme.
