About the role
The GelBottle Inc. is on a huge growth trajectory, and we are looking to further grow our team with a Senior Supply and Demand Planner who would enjoy working within a fast paced, vibrant and founder led business, spanning multiple B2B and B2C brands.
You will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related primarily to supply planning, production planning, and proactive communication with internal/external stakeholders, as well as demand planning for your product categories. Secondary to this, you will need to support other functions including but not limited to, customer & warehouse operations, commercial, finance and marketing/PR.
* Develop and manage short and long-term supply chain plans (E2E).
* Collaborate with UK and international suppliers to handle purchase orders and integrate projected intakes into supply plans.
* Resolve supply issues and proactively manage risks, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
* Conduct root-cause analysis for out-of-stock situations and continuously improve supply plans.
* Maintain product master data for accurate supply planning.
* Implement improvements to meet customer fill rate, inventory targets, and reduce waste.
* Present supply plans in S&OP reviews, highlighting impacts on customer service, inventory, and costs.
* Manage new product development (NPD) schedules to align with sales forecasts and delivery timelines.
* Continuously refine demand plans and forecasts for product categories.
About you:
The role will be based in our brand new Brighton head office, with the flexibility to work remotely, so you will be happy to commute to Brighton at least twice a week. You will lead projects from ideation through to completion and so experience delivering in a fast paced, start-up/scale up environment is ideal. We think you will also need:
* Proficient with MS Office, especially MS Excel (preferably advanced level).
* Prior experience in supply planning environment and ERP systems.
* Experience in FMCG/Cosmetics & Demand Planning (preferred).
* Working at pace and able to multitask.
* Demonstrated problem solving/analytical abilities.
