About the role As a Recharging Analyst within Optimised, you will be part of the Recharging team, within the wider Bureau team, responsible for providing a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate and effective service delivery. What you’ll actually do Providing an excellent client experience to internal and external stakeholders by handling queries via all typical channels in line with internal KPI’s Completing invoice checking and tariff-based validation on all components of electricity, gas, water, heating and cooling invoices Generating batches of invoices, analysing the cost and consumption against previous periods, and looking for and reviewing anomalies Keeping query and savings logs up to date, raising queries and resolving errors with suppliers when invoices are incorrect Producing weekly batch files for clients to process payments Processing and following up on change of tenancies. Creating and delivering monthly/scheduled recharge invoices for tenants Managing multiple sources of meter data for use within recharging Calculating targets and budgets and reviewing on-accounts where required Producing portfolio-wide reports and issuing to clients accordingly Reviewing metering schematics in order to mobilise RICS standard recharging methodology for clients Convey real passion and belief in the business and support the drive to a net zero world. Provide a contribution to continuous collaboration and innovation. Support managers in the provision of Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace. Adhere to company policy, guidelines and standard operating procedures. Ensure you act as a role model, work collaboratively, act professionally and enhance positive morale and well-being at internal/external events. What you’ll need Previous experience working in a recharging team Previous experience in the energy industry Eligibility to work in the UK About you Have a solid understanding of the UK energy industry Strong understanding of all components of an electricity, gas and water bill Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Knowledge of metering is desirable Excellent communication skills – having the ability to communicate complex utility issues with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel – be confident to manipulate data, formatting data, creating and reviewing formulas Customer Service Experience - strong investigation skills and the ability to follow queries through from the start to the end.
