Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 Per day Job Duties: Deliver prepared lesson plans to students on a day-to-day basis Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback Collaborate with regular teaching staff to ensure continuity in students' learning Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Demonstrated experience in teaching and classroom management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and student needs Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience as a teacher or educator Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Ability to differentiate instruction based on students' abilities Organisational and time management skills Proficiency in IT and educational technology Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with diverse student populations Additional subject specialisms or certifications Working Conditions: The role involves working in various schools on a temporary basis, following the school's schedule and policies.
