Are you looking to develop your career in financial planning? We are seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join our team and support our Financial Planners in delivering top-class service to our clients. This role provides an excellent pathway to a full Paraplanner position, with opportunities for further study and professional growth.
Role Responsibilities:
* Conduct research, analyse data, and prepare reports to assist financial advisers in making investment recommendations.
* Provide technical support on tax, legislation, and financial products to help clients meet their financial goals.
* Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to regulatory standards and compliance guidelines.
* Maintain accurate client records while ensuring data confidentiality.
* Collaborate with financial product providers and platforms to obtain necessary information.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency.
* Work closely with financial advisers, paraplanners, and other team members to deliver exceptional client service.
* Prepare detailed financial reports, investment proposals, and market research to support financial planning strategies.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of office-based experience (financial planning experience desirable).
* Some experience in paraplanning or report writing is ideal but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reports and documentation.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence.
* A collaborative approach, flexibility, and willingness to support team members.
* Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
* Confident telephone manner, as liaising with providers and advisers is part of the role.
* Driving Licence due to location.
