Join our Service Charges Project team!
We are currently looking for an experienced Property/Service Charge Accountant to join our Service Charges Project team on a fixed-term basis until December 2025.

Having recently implemented our new finance system, this role is crucial to assist us in providing the highest quality, accurate, and accountable financial statements to our customers in respect of service charges.
In this role you will interrogate ledger transactions and contract information to provide detailed financial accounting information related to service charge costs in alignment with service charge policy and apportionment structures.

Some of the things we are looking for:
Experience in service charges or accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets
Experience of interpreting information, carrying out research, analysing complex data, appraising performance, and managing risk
Experience of providing data and information to challenging deadlines
Experience of providing an excellent customer driven service
Excellent ICT skills (Word, Excel, Cloud technologies)
Have good problem solving and decision-making skills
Qualified to AAT Level 2 or equivalent/or have equivalent experience of Service Charges
While this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to Group offices and other locations for meetings as required. Regular in-person team meetings are held once a week, alternating between our offices at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, and Central Park, Worcester.
