This role offers you the opportunity to learn how to: diagnose, repair, adjust and check all parameters relating to a range of Canon imaging products including entry level camera’s, professional DSLR bodies, camcorders, lenses and accessories to the required company standards using state of the art computer-controlled test equipment. You will develop electronics test and repair experience through technical training provided by an internal Canon mentor. Liaise with existing experienced Canon repair technicians to develop your own skill set and develop your experience Interact with other department to develop your skillset away from the workshop on subjects such as Customer service, specialised helpdesk queries, spares parts allocations and more. You will also maintain accurate repair documentation using Canon systems and processes. Be able to demonstrate tenacity when faced with difficult technical situations, people, or challenges. Have excellent customer service and communication skills and act in a professional manner whilst representing Canon. Be able to demonstrate a level of dexterity and co-ordination in disassembling and reassembling products and devices, as well as develop fault finding skills Have an interest in fault finding electrical equipment and keen to develop your skills in line with ever changing technology. Be computer literate and able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form. Have good data analysis skills and a desire to succeed.
