About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Dartford, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the installation of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all on-site mechanical installation works.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schedules to guide on-site activities.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and timesheets.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role, preferably within the construction or building services industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installation processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS certification).
