Estimator– Dry Lining and Facades
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000

About the Company:
Based in Essex with 30+ years’ experience in Drywall and External Façades, our client is a well-known brand within the London Construction market. This company offers a range of services, with three thriving divisions undertaking complex and large-scale Dry Lining, Facades and Recladding projects working for various clients including Berkeley Group, Canary Wharf Contractors, and Skanska. Our client has a current turnover of circa £50m and a recent change of Managing Director, who oversees all three divisions within the Group and has strong growth and market leadership plans for the business.
About the Role:
Due to company growth plans, my client is currently looking for both Dry Lining and Facades Estimators. You will be capable of valuing projects ranging from £500,000 to £15 million. The projects will be in and around the London area covering various industry sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the industry leaders providing excellent career opportunities. 1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
2. Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
3. Performing risk and value management and cost control.
4. Advising on procurement strategy.
5. Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.
6. Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.
7. Allocating work to subcontractors.

Requirements:
Experience of leading a subcontract commercial team or looking for the next step in your career is essential. Candidates will already have surveying experience with a leading subcontractor/contractor and worked on joinery, carpentry or ideally facades projects. Most importantly, the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious, and keen to progress their career further. You will also need to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
